Slow Motion Potion Journey is a deep dive into the skill, art, discipline and joy of moving slowly.

Each session we will take a deep dive into one of the key elements, exploring the many aspects and putting them into practice. All practices build on one another, designed as a whole, to build grace, strength and fluidity.

The Slow Motion Potion Journey: 3 Practices Of 2 Hours Each

Day 1

Space to Feel

Meditation: Slow Motion Body Scan

Fundamentals of moving slow. Concocting space to connect to the clarity underneath the noise. Moving slow enables us to listen as we move. This deep listening empowers us to know when we need to adjust and re-align, as well as establishes an environment for integration and deep processing.

There are 3 fundamentals keys I’ve distilled from my personal practice that help me to move slow. They are:

  • Unified Physical Activation
  • Aligning Through Transitions
  • Somatic Habitation

We will explore these 3 fundamental keys in a short lecture intro, and in practice. This will be a well-rounded potion, a juicy time to give yourself the space to feel. A layer by layer blossoming into expansive spinal extensions and rich moments to connect with the clarity underneath the noise.


Day 2

Meditation: Listen and Linger

On this day you'll dive deeper into Journal exercises, and through Meditation, you will let yourself feel and listen to everything unfold right here at this moment.

Day 3

Extract The Nectar

Meditation: Conscious Breath

The powerful brew of breath intelligence. There’s an old saying that there is nothing in a caterpillar that knows it’s going to be a Butterfly. Nonetheless, the transformation from caterpillar to winged wonder happens, quite naturally. Breath can be a powerful initiator of growth and transformation within us.

Sometimes we can overcomplicate things, even in our yoga practice. And it’s often in times of great complication that we remember to go back to the little things. Tend to the simple things like flowers in the field. To open our senses to the nectar and aroma of living in the moment. This practice is about simplification and coming back to the nectar of the moment, on the conduit of our breath. Movement focus will be cultivating deeper connection to the breath to harness fluidity and ease.

There are 3 key fundamental breath extractions for our exploration:

  • Growing Capacity: balanced and elongated
  • Movement Initiator and sustainer
  • Body-mind anchor and communicator

By becoming breath focused, we can learn the wealth and gift of the breath to create fluidity, grace and connection in every moment.


Day 4

Meditation: Spacial Awareness

On this day you'll dive deeper into Journal exercises, and through Meditation, you will become aware of all the space you can feel, generating balanced awareness.

Day 5

Triple Dipped

Meditation: Grounding

Amalgamation of all the ingredients. Slowing down can require a certain special kind of trust. Trust in your body, that it will give you feedback. Trust in yourself, in knowing you can handle what life gifts you to learn. Trust in your strength, abilities and gifts. Trust in life, in the moments that have not come yet.

Our final potion is an amalgamation of the ingredients of the previous two concoctions, with the added ingredients of trusting the synthesis and practicing them in a state of flow.

This creative flow combines the activations, openings and principles already seeded, merging them in a seductive cyclical sequence. With each cycle, the familiarity grows and this allows the movement meditation experience to deepen.

The beginning of this hypnotic breath flow practice focuses on seamless fluidity from pose to pose, each movement married to breath, followed by deep lingering active openings to ground and integrate all of the practices.
